javascript - jQuery: Plain HTML/CSS with core jQuery or jQuery UI for a blog? -

I'm going to implement a blog, and I'm pretty sure that I want to go with jQuery because I really Like it in.

However, when I finally did jQuery, then I did just plain HTML / CSS and then to improve the user experience which jQuery has to offer. In the meantime, the jQuery UI has been released, and it looks like a full user interface framework such as Ext JS.

Can I take advantage of jQuery's UI with such a simple website, web application such as Gmail?

The jQuery UI is quite big and it seems that there are lots of CSS and CSS in their skins. I am a little worried that to create a blog I have to write / adjust lots of CSS like I want it If I do plain HTML / CSS, then I will get better control over the appeal.

Edit: I will again stress that I am particularly thinking whether the jQuery UI is useful for simple websites like blogs and it is more useful for web applications There is no doubt about it.

Edit 2: Thank you for all your replies, very bad I could not accept more than one. So far, I realized that the jQuery UI is not like I expect a full web application framework, but a bunch of useful utilities at the top of jQuery. I think I will only use it for draggable, droppable and selection.

You can have both ... I have it! Where I am using widgets (Dotworks) etc. I use jquery ui in addition to travel: and you can easily customize the colors. The UI is recommended if you use widgets, then the widget relies on the CSS defined in it, in which to move things, to display and select widgets, to handle the widgets < P> You can always create your site using HTML + CSS, later you can add UI theme, as you said it will greatly increase the user experience ... Apart from this, we always have 1 or 2 Use Seshtaon or expanding to find other great plugins
