Flash 2D engine to use to make a Flash Angry Birds clone (to run on mobile) -

There are many different physics engine available for flash, do you create a catapult (with catapult) Angry Birds Clone Will recommend - which will be packed once on mobile, will be packed through air?

Did anyone make World Builder Alchemy port 2D vs box 2D for Box?

Some time ago (before angry birds) worked on an angry difficulty balloon game and its Box 2D is not used, just original vector math.

In addition, a few years ago, a original box called the 2D game. Used pure as3 port (not alchemy one) and for simple game it worked well.

Although it makes it very easy to start with. Lee Brimelow has started a good bit.

Although I have some basic B2b concept concepts, though what would recommend:

  • Coordinate system (different from flash)
  • box 2D Physical Definitions (B2BDF) and Polygon Definitions (B2 Polygon Def)
  • Forces, Impulses, Joints

With the World Construction Kit, you are still A demo without knowing more about these, but it will really be useful to understand That's how Box2D runs a bit.

Alchemy port should be slightly (~ 5/10 frames per second on a fast reference basis), but I'm afraid that I have not used it on mobile yet.

In the flash camp in London I have seen a very angry birds like the flash demo is running on an Android phone and the framerate was above 20 fps, which was encouraging. I think that you should take into consideration the kind of mobile content and some tricks that improve the framerate slightly (such as cash atmatimap and cash asmatics, where possible).

For Android, you can take a look at this and get some tips / advice / gossip.

For the iPhone, I will not consider flash for a sensitive box 2D game. I would recommend flash
