c# - Windows 7 forms effect - how to switch it off? -

I have a form that was originally developed for use on XP, in which .NET 4.0 progress Control was. This is part of an overall control, where I write some information over the bar using text renderer. (I did not go for a label because transparency does not seem to work.)

I've upgraded the OS to Windows 7 now, and it looks completely and controls Experience has changed. There is now a kind of "susceptible" effect in the progress bar, an exposed one that moves from left to right quickly. The problem is that this animation is removing my rendered text. My app is updated frequently, so there is a blinking text at the top of my status bar.

How can I fix this?

For any reason, you have to type the text you wrote instead of the bar instead of the bar, Like everything else? It seems that it will be very easy to read the lesson if it is different from the bar, it has definitely been my experience of progress bars as a user: keep any status message away from the graphics.

Edit: I've just checked, and if you do not call the application, then the application. Supportive style style uses very old "big blue blocks" style , As far as I can tell. Personally I find this pretty ugly - I recommend that you stay with a good visual style, but move the text.
