emulation - Android Emulator Shutdown takes FOREVER -

I need a poweroff / poweron emulator to test. I'm closing the endless message ... that's the emulator It's been 30 minutes running. Is not it completely working? Is there any way to close the emulator or at least startup emulator without the app? I'm trying to test app boot at startup, and I can not get emulator shutdown. So at least there's a way to start with the emulator to start it without an app. BTW, if anyone knows about the emulator's internal on this board, then you will tell us what is happening during this 30+ minutes. I could process a gazillion DB transaction at this time. It is not slow or not too lazy, it is completely ineffective. Thank you

If you are using Eclipse:

  1. Android Virtual
  2. Select your virtual device and click on the Start button
  3. "Launch the snapshot" in the new window
  4. Launch
