Is it possible to highlight interpolated perl variables in emacs? -

Recently I started using emacs and after overcoming many obstacles in creating cperl-mode As agreed by the way I am stumped with this problem, at present, all the scalers used regularly are left to me, except where they are mutual. Is this possible to highlight the possible syntax under this mode? Currently I'm using EMACAS 23.1 and Jerokwe's Seeper-Mode 5.23

thanks

This will not highlight the interpolated variable in strings, but it will do it in regular expressions. I can bet that anyone who knows Elispy can be adapted.
