Hide Android status bar on the homescreen -

I see a way to hide the status bar displayed on the device's homescreen, when not in any app

Does anyone know one way to do this?

1.x and 2.x on Android, you can write your own home screen.

On Android 3.x, this is impossible.

In all editions, you can not remove the status bar from another application.
