I am a long time reader of the site, but has been posted before and hope that anyone here Can get help. I am working on a multi-user web application which allows users to get potential information in our database. Users will be given default fields within the app, such as names and emails, which are grouped into data groups.
However, I want to allow users to create multiple custom fields and also allow them to know what data group is in group to choose the best way to get it. I'm struggling.
I currently have 3 tables in my data that are as follows:
DataGroups group_id group_name order 1 test group 1 2 2 test group 2 1 datafield field_ad field_name group 1 Field 1 2 2 Field 2 1 3 Area 3 Custom Defined Custom_field_id field_name Group 1 Custom 1 1 2 Custom 2 2 I'm really surprised how surprised I am to create a query in 3 tables. Done that i can make a scene after the display : test group 2 - area 1 - area 3 - custom 2 test group 1 - field 2 - custom 1 one thing to keep in mind It is important that I can allow users to create custom data groups, which need to be addressed.
Any input on this will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
However, I want users to Accordingly, allow multiple custom fields to be created and selected.
You have made every casual user your database designer.
Is this sound a good idea? P>
Any table must have a line in a column separated by a comma. home page: 123-456-7890, work: 123-456-0987, cell: 123-454, the data will be appearing like this in the end. -5678 H: 123-454-6453, W: 123-432-5746, 800: 1-800-555-1212 234-345-4567, 234-345-6785 323-123-4567 Do not call before 10: 00 o'clock Why would people do this? Because the general people do not know how to design the design. They will do the most rich thing, which are still putting data in any way, and understand how to deal with it later.
Heck, most of the programmers do not know how to design databases simply [database] for a week or so a week of questions (including a dozen versions of this .) You do not want to not use MySQL or any SQL DBM for it. If you can not do the proper job of modeling to get started, then a SQL DBM will die just before your time.
