Update: Have I got the MAMP Pro? Should I set up just another virtual host on my local machine? If I made another virtual host, then I can put the wordpress root in its root. And when I upload to the production server, I do not have to make any changes. I can also place the file in the output server root, as well as. Will this plan work? Thank you.

Hi,
I have found a simple question about using WordPress on my local host. I got an MAMP at my local host; And I keep WordPress files as a directory: htdocs / wordpress
When I run WordPress on a production server, I want to put it in the root directory (I want to ditch the WordPress directory)
Do I Can I simply copy files that are in the WordPress directory on my local host and dump them into my production server root? Or is this screw-up settings and filespath?
I have a lot of files in the HTODOCC directory of my local host. I do not want to confuse them with other projects or else I keep the set-up on both machines.
Sorry for such basic questions. But, I want to set it up so that it can avoid the problems of the road.
Thank you.

You can complete the entire directory structure on your production host Copy to htdocs, but you have to change some URL. Please follow the direct change of the URL in the database.
